Investors spend 3-4 minutes on a first pass. Strengthen weakest areas first.
A pitch deck is your primary tool for communicating your investment opportunity. Institutional VCs review hundreds of decks per month and typically spend 3-4 minutes on a first pass. Every weak element gives them a reason to move on.
This scorecard covers the twelve elements that experienced investors evaluate most carefully. Problem and solution clarity, market size credibility, traction evidence, and team strength are consistently cited as the most important factors.
A score below 50 suggests significant gaps. Between 50 and 70, you have foundations but need refinement. Above 70, you are likely ready for investor conversations. The most useful output is the list of weak areas: address those first.
